The things that made me smile today

The reclining seats and excellent service on Jet Airways
No line at immigration at JFK and bags arriving in five minutes
An NY cab driver asking about Belgian beer and getting excited over Stella
The hustle and bustle of Times Square and the parades with real Fleet Week like marines
The anticipation of new arrivals later today
Someone unexpected liking this “column”

I told you so matey! Did you enjoy a glass (or two) of Dom Perignon champagne? Make sure you change into the ‘pajamas’ on your way back – it’s worth it – and everyone looks like a dork so don’t sweat it. You’ll feel like a new person when you arrive. If only all travel could be so painless. Ah NYC – so many happy memories. With you in spirit! Have a great week!

    Hey Kim,

Veel plezier in NYC.
    xx

    Hola Nifty Skimpy!

Nice to hear you’re in Newyorkistan! I’ll follow your adventures with great interest (and just a pinch of searing jealousy) If you happen to meet my ex there, do not hesitate to insert your stiletto heel in any available and preferably mushy orifice for me!

I truly love your blog, it makes me feel cool by proxy :-) Keep up the great job and call me when you’re free for a Duvel and Ben&Jerry’s binge session!

    I miss you…

Wow, Naud! You dropped off the face of the earth…and here you are again. But where is here? Send me an email (I don’t have yours or your phone number) and we’ll have drinks.

PS: My stilettos don’t do orifices. Nut-cracking only. ;)
